Museum of Straw Art "Straw Wonder"

The first and only museum of straw art in Ukraine. It was opened at the Kupychiv School on 30 June 2008 as part of the All-Ukrainian Creative Laboratory of Straw Art Masters ‘Straw Bull’, which took place in the city of Lutsk and the village of Kupychiv. The museum covers an area of 69 m2, with an exhibition area of 45 m2. The museum's collection includes 210 items, including 166 items from the main collection. The exhibition sections reflect the history of straw weaving, types of weaving, and the creative stages of Maria Kravchuk and members of the ‘Zhytetsko’ studio.

‘The tradition of straw weaving in the Turiysk community of the Volyn region’ has been added to the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
