Volyn Regional Sanatorium "Forest Song" is a multidisciplinary sanatorium-resort and rehabilitation facility with a modern medical and diagnostic base, qualified medical staff, comfortable and cozy rooms, custom-made dietary meals, which has become popular not only in Volyn, but also outside the region and Ukraine.

The sanatorium has the highest accreditation category, has the ISO 9001: 2015 Certificate DSTU ISO 9001: 2015. It has been awarded many diplomas, letters of appreciation, thanks and other regional and state awards.

Accommodation

The sanatorium is designed for 420 beds. Almost 200 rooms await vacationers (double and triple suites, single and double junior suites, as well as double and triple rooms with all amenities - standard). Equipped rooms for people with disabilities. For a comfortable family vacation, there are comfortable wooden “luxury” houses for 8 people.

Treatment

In “Forest Song” patients successfully undergo rehabilitation and treat diseases of the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, musculoskeletal system and spine, nervous and endocrine systems, skin (psoriasis). Traditional treatment with the help of modern equipment and medical preparations is harmoniously combined with phytotherapy, manual therapy, homeopathy, hirudotherapy, treatment with peat mud and mineral water from local deposits.

A great addition to treatment are psychological relaxation sessions, music and aromatherapy, underwater and hydrolaser showers, a gym and therapeutic gymnastics, various massages, a Tibetan sauna. In total, the medical and diagnostic center has more than fifty procedures! The final stage is the construction of a swimming pool, which includes a swimming lane with various hydro procedures, therapeutic and massage slides.

"Forest Song" has modern necessary diagnostics and medical equipment. To clarify the diagnosis and assess the effectiveness of the treatment process, clinical and biochemical studies are conducted, ultrasound and functional diagnostics rooms are operating, and doctors conduct consultative receptions: cardiologist, therapist, neuropathologist, otolaryngologist, gynecologist, manual therapist, endocrinologist, rheumatologist, orthopedic traumatologist, homeopath, phytotherapist, dentist.

There are significant developments in the rehabilitation and treatment of victims of the Chernobyl accident.

Rehabilitation

The sanatorium has five rehabilitation departments, where cardiac rehabilitation is carried out (treatment of patients who have suffered a myocardial infarction, have angina or hypertension or have undergone operations on the coronary vessels and heart); neurorehabilitation (treatment of patients who have suffered an ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke or had transient attacks); musculoskeletal rehabilitation, where patients undergo rehabilitation after joint surgery or after diseases of the musculoskeletal system; rehabilitation of patients with diabetes; rehabilitation of ATO participants.

Recreation

Guests of the sanatorium can play sports in the health resort and spend their leisure time in an interesting way. They have access to well-maintained sports grounds, table tennis, billiards, a gym, catamaran and bicycle riding, hiking, Nordic walking. For those who love to read, there is a library with a book collection of about 7 thousand copies, and for those who like to watch movies, a cinema and video hall opens its doors.

On the territory of the sanatorium there is a chapel of Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sofia, where weekly spiritual meetings and prayers are held.

Discos, relaxation evenings, theme nights and concerts with the participation of the folk ensemble "Forest Song", the children's ensemble "Barvinok" and various art groups and artists are constantly held in the dance hall and on the summer playground.

Guests of the sanatorium have a great opportunity to go on many excursions, in particular, to the territory of the Shatsk Natural National Park, which includes 32 lakes, including Svityaz - one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine; visit the Lesya Ukrainka museum-estate in the village of Kolodyazhne, the residence of the Volyn princes "Zymna voda" in the village of Zymne, Lyubart's castle in Lutsk.

Fresh air, quiet pools of the Shatsk lakes, their clean healing water, sandy beaches and the rich nature of this region contribute to effective treatment and good rest.
