Lutsk gate

Lutsk Gate is part of the city's defense system, which was formed in the 16th–17th centuries under the Radziwill princes. It was through it that the road to Lutsk ran, hence its name. Lutsk Gate performed not only a defensive but also a control function - it was through it that the entrance to the city and trade traffic were carried out.

Architecturally, the building combines the features of Renaissance and Baroque fortifications. Massive walls, arched passage and restrained decor emphasize its military-defense character. Despite losses and reconstructions, the gate has retained its authenticity and remains an important historical accent in the Olika area.
