The Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ is an architectural monument of the 18th century and one of the most original late baroque buildings in Volyn. The temple was built by the Jesuits in 1755–1770 as the Church of the Heart of Jesus. Throughout its history, it passed between various monastic orders and denominations, and today it is the cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

The cathedral is distinguished by exquisite baroque forms, architectural details and large dungeons. According to legend, they could be connected by an underground passage with the Dormition Cathedral, but there is no reliable confirmation of this.
